Nathaniel Appleton Prentiss was a man completely charming to his friends through his courteous manners and innate kindliness. He deserved well of this Association for his services on the Committee of Admissions. He also served the community as a member of the Board of Education. He was an honored member of the legal profession, and as referee disentangled some thousands of cases in bankruptcy in the Federal Courts.
