Digital Resources

As part of its core mission to support public researchers, the CAAF prioritizes initiatives to make its collections more available and discoverable to those outside the clubhouse through the digitization and curation of its physical holdings.

Member Directory, 1847-1922

Search individual member profile pages featuring vital membership data, portraits, and memorials written for the over 3,000 Century members who joined the Association prior to 1923. Just as these Centurions were closely associated in real life, their profile pages are richly interwoven. Hundreds of kinship notes and references in each other’s memorial texts are linked, as well as the proposers and seconders who initiated the candidacies of members, and whom they in turn brought into the Century fold.

Although the Century maintains strict rules about photography within the clubhouse, the Archives holds the few valuable exceptions across the club’s history, chiefly from major anniversary galas and other celebrations, as well as ephemera and other visual materials. The club has a long-held tradition of soliciting member portraits for the Archives, which are also graphically rich with the drawings of its illustrious member-artists and amateurs whom have long contributed their work. Curated selections of digitized assets will be continually added.
