Century Memorial
Although he had been a member of the Club but a few years, Frederic G. Dow had formed many friendships among us. Born in New Brunswick fifty-one years [sic] ago, Mr. Dow was a graduate of Bowdoin, and for a number of years practised law in Portland, Me. Since his removal to this city he had built up a large and successful business, and was connected with a variety of important enterprises, mostly manufacturing. He was an assiduous worker, of clear and firm judgment, and faithful in all obligations, professional and personal. Of a modest and genial disposition, a fast friend and interesting companion, his loss is sincerely mourned.
