Century Memorial
George Thomson Elliot stood at the head of dermatological surgery in this city, where he practiced thirty-seven years. During most of that period he taught his specialty as professor in the Medical College at Cornell, serving as consulting physician for a long list of New York hospitals. He was also an unceasingly active member of the principal medical societies, in this country and abroad. His friends knew him best for his broad culture and manifold interests outside of his own profession.
