Augustus W. Durkee’s affiliations were with the Stock Exchange from which he retired many years ago. Recently he had managed several estates, traveled extensively, and was a liberal contributor to charities. He was a good friend and loyal citizen; interested in public affairs and an ardent advocate of our country’s participation in the Great War long before we entered it.
