Century Memorial
Howard Van Sinderen was a scholarly lawyer, who maintained throughout his long professional career a constant interest in the literature of the law as well as in general literature. His activities were applied primarily to office work, but he was always ready to give himself to the service of any charity. He labored more or less obscurely, never seeking recognition or publicity. But he had sterling qualities of character, unselfish devotion to friends and duties, and was essentially a gentleman of the old school.
