Century Memorial

Solomon Lincoln was a lawyer of mark and a man of eminence in the metropolis of New England. He was sixty-nine on his last birthday, and had for fifteen years been one of the membership here. His powers revealed themselves as an undergraduate, for he was foremost in the famous Harvard class of 1857 when only nineteen. Thenceforward his career was one of usefulness and honor; at the bar and in public life he was a trusted adviser and a valued friend.
