Century Memorial
Charles H. Lee was one of our members from the mercantile trade whose actual qualifications as amateur were only known by chance to his fellow-Centurions. A wide reader and exceedingly well-informed, he used to spend his summer holiday in sketching, and was in fact an amateur landscape painter of unusual distinction. He was retiring by nature, but those who knew him best characterized him as a good companion and a typical Centurion of the old type.
