Century Memorial

Edward Judson was a distinguished Baptist preacher and lecturer, and for thirty-three years pastor of the Judson Memorial Church, which was built in memory of his father, a brave missionary in India and Burma, who had suffered cruel persecution. The son was born after his father’s death in Burma, and was sent home to the care of Baptist friends. Thus, as it were, consecrated by his birth and early years, he was a devoted and successful Baptist minister of the Gospel to the end. He also wrote a life of his father and lectured for several years at the Union Theological Seminary and the Colgate Baptist University. In The Century he showed himself a genial, companionable soul.
