Century Memorial
Cyrus Butler was a successful merchant who acquired wealth early and was free in dispensing it. Having great faith in American art and artists there was no more cordial, earnest and liberal supporter of the artists in this country than he. He was fond of club life, and was a welcome frequenter of the Century.
