James Waddell Alexander, a graduate of Princeton of the class of ’60, was long engaged in the service of the Equitable Life Assurance Society, and for some years its President. A man of warm and genial temper, he had many friends, and was for a number of years President of the University Club and the Princeton Club of New York.
