During the World War, William Harrison Bradley rendered excellent service as consul and representative of the United States in Canada. He had full sympathy with our Canadian neighbors, always spoke with cordial appreciation of their manliness and sturdiness, and enjoyed their reciprocal respect and liking. He ought not to have been relieved as consul; his relations with the community in which he represented the United States made him an invaluable public servant.
