Century Memorial

Theodore Voorhees, president of the Reading, was one of the ablest railroad men in the country. Through study and through long experience, he had equipped himself for the handling of problems of transportation. One of the distinguished graduates of the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute at Troy, it was through the engineering department that he rose to eminence in the management of railways.
