Century Memorial
The happy and genial figure of William Henry Boardman will long be remembered here. In the business world he was known as the publisher and editor of the Railway Age Gazette, but his friends knew him as a lover of natural life. Very charming was his little book, Lovers of the Woods. He was an enthusiast for outdoor sports and games of skill; a warm and cordial and hospitable friend. In 1874 he married Miss Henrietta Frances Hall, and his family life was of the happiest.
