Son-in-law of Eleazar Parmly; father of Ehrick K. Rossiter.
Century Memorial
The eager and ambitious temperament of Rossiter made him changefully open to all impressions; and his quick anticipations often cheated him of those finished results in his art to which a sterner discipline of his unquestioned talents would have led. It was this very susceptibility which made him always charming and sympathetic as a companion, and full of warmth and ready for sacrifice as a friend.
