Century Memorial

Charles Pryer was interested in printing and publishing, but was better known as a banker and yachtsman. For he was a director of the National City Bank, a Commodore of the New Rochelle Yacht Club and the Corinthian fleet; and had written a History of American Yachting. He collected coins and armor, and had fine knowledge of the Arts involved. A descendant of Huguenots, he sought to keep their traditions before men’s minds.
