Century Memorial
Fellow-Centurions who met Charles Henry Phelps at the Club-house, where he had been, as long as most of us could remember, constant frequenter of reading room and library, would perhaps have found it hard to realize that Phelps had practiced law in this city during half a century. He was one of those men who did not physically or intellectually show his years; the viewpoint reflected in his quiet comment on events and personalities did not seem to change as time went on.
