Century Memorial
Henry Dudley, who was descended from the old Stuyvesant family in New York, was a gentleman of wealth and leisure, who employed the opportunities thus given him for doing good in charitable work with an unstinted hand. He was educated at Columbia College and afterwards studied abroad.
He was a vestryman in St. George’s Church, was connected with many of the best social organizations in the city, was most estimable in all the relations of life, and during his whole career acquired and deserved a most honorable reputation.
