Century Memorial
The public life of Judge Curtis expressed in action the strong common sense and punctilious integrity which were the basis of his mental and moral character. These qualities, during the many years of active service he gave to The Century, bore fruit for us in high purpose and prudent counsel. While thus esteemed as an associate of this body, the charm of his intercourse, his large information freely imparted, his calm yet sympathetic judgements of men, and his manner, equally dignified and kindly, endeared him not less to each of its members as a friend.
