Edward V. Clark was one of the most modest and retiring of our members, who was highly appreciated by those who knew him.
He was a disciple of Izaak Walton, and in the gentle art of angling found his chief pleasure. His conservatism was shown by the regularity with which he devoted himself to his business, to the pursuit of his favorite sport, and to the whole conduct of his social life.
