John E. Burrill was one of the ablest and most industrious of the members of the New York bar. He was actively engaged in his profession here during his entire career. He was concerned in great cases; active in large corporations; successful to a remarkable degree in all he undertook; and impressed all who knew him with the force and vigor of his intellect, and his clear and alert mental action.
