Century Memorial
It is hard to think of the strong form of Charles Osmyn Brewster brought low by painful disease; he was so brave, so ready to combat for whatever he thought right. His was a quick and generous nature, open-souled and open-handed, as eager to help a college enterprise as a civic campaign. Belonging to two colleges, he worked and gave of his substance for the ’79 Dormitory at Princeton, as he did for the Stadium at Harvard. He was also a devotee and vigorous patron of music in this city. His many friends will not cease to mourn for him.
