William C. Wisner, one of our oldest members, who fully appreciated his associations here, and was held in high regard by us all, passed away full of years, regretted by a large circle of friends. He was born in New York City, was engaged in business all his life in this city, enjoyed an enviable reputation as a successful, enterprising merchant of perfect integrity, whose quiet and unostentatious life and gentle character, which endeared him to a large circle of friends, was a pattern to us all.
