Henry Selden Norris was consulting specialist and attending physician at Bellevue and the City and other hospitals. Belonging to an old New York family, he was a member of the St. Nicholas Society, and a veteran of the Seventh Regiment. A clear-sighted diagnostician; sympathetic and devoted as a practitioner; his practice was marked by insight and success, and his life was marked by many acts of kindness.
