Theodore Frelinghuysen Miller was a prominent and useful citizen of Brooklyn; but his financial influence and services in the cause of public education extended over our whole community. His was a marked career in law, in business, and in finance. At the time of his death, he was president of the Brooklyn Trust Company, and a director in a number of financial and public service corporations. He was also chairman of the Committee on Commercial Education of the New York Chamber of Commerce and president of the Board of Trustees of the College of the City of New York, and a director in a number of charities.
