The CAAF’s core mission is to document the rich history of the Century Association and its clubhouse, to preserve its physical and digital records, and to promote and provide public access to these archival holdings while respecting the privacy of current and recent members.

Guides are available to the contents of the Century Association Archives and Charles A. Platt Library. Collections are processed according to archival field standards, and may be restricted due to condition or privacy concerns, subject to Archivist discretion.
Guide to the Century Association records
The Century Association records consist of administrative, committee, and member files created by the Century Association from its inception, as well as other materials that relate to the history of the Association and its role in the cultural life of New York City and the United States.
Guide to the Charles A. Platt Library
The CAAF administers the 458-volume working library and 51-volume photographic collection of architect Charles A. Platt, originally donated to the Century Association in 1943.

In most cases, the Archivist is available to answer research inquiries and provide digital surrogates as appropriate.
For extensive requests, researchers may make an appointment to visit the Archives at the Century Association in midtown Manhattan, New York.
