Connie Converse: What She Left Behind

Rosanne Cash joins biographer Howard Fishman in conversation to explore the enigma of the mid-century New York City songwriter, singer, and composer Connie Converse, with a focus on the personal archive she maintained in a filing cabinet – the contents of which served as the basis for Fishman's book To Anyone Who Ever Asks: The Life, Music, and Mystery of Connie Converse (shortlisted for the Plutarch Award for Biography of the Year) and which also revealed an unexpected connection to a long-time Century staff member.
